"When it comes to potatoes," Raiden told his class, "the sky's the limit, but there are two classic breakfast options we need to cover: hash browns and home fries. Many will argue about which is superior--" Hash browns. It was hash browns. "--but the truth is they're both delicious parts of the breakfast experience. So you get to choose which you make, and eat." Raiden proceeded to handwavily discuss the difference between hash browns and home fries and demonstrate how to make them. When he was done, he asked, "Any questions? Then let's get to potatoing!" That wasn't a word, buddy.

It was soothing, really, knowing this class was happening in the afternoons after Liliana's class. Trying to make some crispy potatoes was a good distraction from memories and feelings brought up earlier in the day.

And then he could eat the potatoes which was even better.
