Hmmmmmm. Pasta.

Tim did not have an evil smile on his face.

"Hi Tim!" Pippi said totally not noticing the evil smile that is totally not on Tim's face.

[identity profile] grand-fallguy.livejournal.com 2006-05-31 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hey Pippi." tim smiled, sitting down at her table. "Mmmm, pasta."

He had a map of the island and of some of the major trails in the preserve with him. There was not something concealed beneath it.

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-05-31 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oooh! A map! Does it lead to buried treasure?"

[identity profile] grand-fallguy.livejournal.com 2006-05-31 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
"So far I hope it leads me to paths that don't switch around on you." Tim said.

"Oh, and before I forget, I got your message this morning."

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-05-31 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh yeah. The eggshell thing..."

[identity profile] grand-fallguy.livejournal.com 2006-05-31 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's a way to get rid of changelings, which, I thought you were when I first met you cause..the eyes. Anyway you boil eggshells in the presence of someone you think is a changling, and if they are, the changling get's all freaked out, cause boiling eggshells is weird, and they're all like `omgwtf?` Which blows their cover and they have to leave, and the real kid comes back."

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-05-31 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh really?" Pippi asked, "I didn't know that. I'll have to file that away and not forget it."

[identity profile] grand-fallguy.livejournal.com 2006-05-31 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Tim nodded. "It's usefull stuff. Lord Palamon made it sound like procedural stuff, that even if the parents know it's a changling, and the changling knows they know, then they still have to boil the eggshells, but he can be kind of full of it sometimes." He ate his pasta. Mmm, pasta. One hand rested at the edge of his map.

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-05-31 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
"Palamon being the bingo guy? Is it just eggshells or can you boil other things."

Hmmm, pasta.

[identity profile] grand-fallguy.livejournal.com 2006-06-01 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm pretty sure it's just eggshells." tim said, finishing up his food. "But I suppose other weird things might work. Anything to make someone, even a Fae sit up and take notice I suppose."

He smoothly slid his hand under the map and picked it up with the other, revealing the water gun beneath.

*skuik!*

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-06-01 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
"Well, I seem to recall she was extra special irritated with Mr. Baldric so maybe..."

*skuik!*

"... Oh... You are so dead."

[identity profile] grand-fallguy.livejournal.com 2006-06-01 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
Tim snickered, and dashed for the door.

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-06-01 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
Pippi watched him go with narrowed eyes.

There was not an evil smile on her face.

... Okay, there was an evil smile on her face.

Grabbing some vegeterian lasagna and a peanut butter cookie, Tempe sat down to eat lunch.

As usual, her notebook was open beside her. However, she wasn't writing; she was staring dreamily into the air instead.
