Teamwork- Monday, 1st period

Class today was back in the Danger Shop, which was made up to look like a ropes course, parts of it high off the ground. Was anyone afraid of heights?

"Welcome back to anyone who was indisposed this weekend," Jaina began, not at all looking at a husband who was resolutely not acknowledging that he'd gotten a boot put on him yesterday for being illegally parked. "We're back to it today, where you're all going to throw on some safety gear and make some teamwork happen."

Jag, also resolutely not a car, continued, "You'll have three tasks that will require you to work together to complete them. You'll have to complete all three by the end of class, and no powers are allowed."

"All right," Jaina said. "Let's get you all suited up."

Get across the bridge

Well, "bridge." It looks like a solo activity but requires some patience from anyone behind you as you make your way across some dubious footing from high up. (You're attached to rigging from above and wearing safety equipment, plus there's a net below.)

Also the way things are connected, if anyone's at all nervous enough or going too fast, the whole thing will shake. Communication and support, everybody!

This, at least, was a lot of fun. Arden loved being up high, and was happy to go last and encourage anybody in front of her.

Get out of the box

For your next task, the whole team is in a box on the ground, with walls about eight feet high. There's room to get under the wall, though not a lot- a small person could probably do it. Everyone needs to be out of the box before any of you can move on.

"Is it cheating to send somebody out to fetch, like, a ladder or something for the rest of us?" Arden asked. "Or is it literally just thinking outside the box?"

Luma could scale this wall incredibly easily as a wolf, but she still wasn't sure or not if that counted as powers, so she was mostly just sort of waiting to see what other ideas everyone else had and wondering if next week, she should just come to class as a wolf and see if that could be a good go-around.

Balance the seesaw

The last task involves a large seesaw, long enough for everyone to stand on at once. Everyone has to balance it out completely horizontally without falling off.

One of them is not talking about it. The other one teased them endlessly this morning.

"Wait until you wake up sticky before your four year old self went wild on the unsupervised lollipops," Anakin advised.

"We're hoping not to be here long enough for that to happen," he said.

They weren't even supposed to be here this long.

He was very far removed from it all, but some things could be assumed.
