Philosophy of Food, 3rd period

Today class had been asked to meet at Portalocity. Hannibal smiled as he greeted them.

"When I initially taught this class, circumstances demanded we leave the island for this one. I see no reason not to continue it as a tradition this time. The Victoria and Albert museum had an exhibition that matches our class, so why not have a field trip? As we will already be including a time change in our portals, we can follow it with a late lunch or early dinner in the London of 2019."

Nell wandered about the exhibits, finding the bicitractor especially interesting and exchanging emails with people to be able to do some seed exchanges later. She asked some questions about new methods of composting and finally tried some of the foods on offer.

Overall, a very interesting exhibition!

An exhibit like this took on a particularly interesting perspective when you came at it after a decade of trying to thrive and survive in a ruined world without sunlight. Gladio was a little bummed that Iggy was skipping out on class this week, knowing he would have found it pretty interesting, too. All the more reason to take note and pictures on a few things, and maybe consider reading up more on some of the topics featured.
