Lana waited for everyone to show up, then led them through the portal to a world in shades of autumn. "Welcome to Voss." Hovering nearby were a few of the very tall inhabitants. "The Voss have graciously allowed us to visit today, so I will ask you all to be on your best behavior. We are currently in Voss-Ka, the capital city, in the alien enclave. There's a market just over there that you can explore if you like, or you can simply roam and speak with the locals and other visitors. If you don't mind spending a bit more time here, you can get a shuttle to Interpreter's Retreat, where you can assist with clearing and rebuilding shrines."

On the one hand, Summer felt like helping with the shrines was the good, noble, selfless thing to do on this trip.

On the other hand...shopping.

There was a long moment of indecision.

"Oh, fuck it," she said, and made a beeline for the market, her wallet almost immediately wide open.

Look, she'd helped save this galaxy from an evil empire in two different timelines. She did her time. She was gonna get her some space swag, dammit.
