There were a lot of ways to do this exercise, and Jag had vetoed a few scenarios before settling on this one. And so the Danger Shop looked like a living room- unnecessarily, they could have done this in a classroom but it was about the ambiance- and the coffee table was filled with menus.

"Your exercise today looks fairly simple," Jag began. "You will need to decide as a group where to eat. You'll have the class period, and if we have enough time after your decision, we really will order it."

"Some ground rules," Jaina said. "You do not get to leave the room. You can only select one restaurant. You are not allowed to say any variation of 'I don't know," or 'you decide,' or I will take it as consent to spray you with a squirt gun."

"That's all," Jag said. "Your time starts now."

"Don't be sorry, I have your dietary requirements on a post-it with my recipe cards so I never forget," Illyana replied cheerfully. "--feeding you is not hard."

"We just need to find one of these," she waived a menu in the air, "--that actually serves vegan food. Best chance to reduce cross-contamination."

Arden's smile changed to something a little fuller and more confident. "Thanks," she said. "Do you want me to text Steven, maybe? I bet he and Watts know which restaurants serve vegan food on the island."

"Yes, excellent, or vegan places off-island, some of these look like they're still close enough to deliver," she mused, as she continued to browse the menus. "Though you should probably specify this is for class, so we are talking 'regular delivery zone,' not 'Illyana's delivery zone.'"
