Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Good weather had fallen over Fandom this morning, so the picnic conditions were looking fantastic. The bonfire was there for good measure, along with the makings of s'mores, because it was almost truly summer, right?

There was plenty of food, and there were tables and chairs set up all across the lawn with varying degrees of glitter stuck to them. Everything was ready for another welcome picnic!

The raccoons had a brewery, so it was probably fine!

"Blech. You can have 'em. Raisins don't belong anywhere, if you ask me."

Yeah, but it was fine on a scale of raccoon brewery, so...

"I'm gonna make chocolate chip cookies, too, and then put them all together," Arden said. "It's like a guessing game which one you get!"

You'd chosen this sibling, Gray.

Ugh, and Gray already knew they didn't take returns at the sibling store, even if they were siblings of choice.

"Nooooooo. Arden! Why would you be so mean?" He was giving her the puppy eyes, which he knew to be very effective. Sometimes they worked on Galen.

Why? How many times had his brothers tried?

Kidding! Just kidding! She loved you best of all Gray.

"Okay, no, hey! No fair, don't look at me like that!" Arden said, throwing her arms in front of her face like she could block out the eyes.

Hey! Hurtful.

"I will increase the looking," Gray intoned solemnly, then reached over to poke her in the ribs and asked her, "Hey, what workshops are you taking? I'm taking Ray's and I'm gonna make him make waffles every week." Good luck with that, buddy.

"I'm in that one!" Arden said, peeking through her fingers to make sure the eyes were behaving themselves. "And you need to let him have at least one week for breakfast cake."

Because breakfast cake, Gray!

"Teamwork, National Park Adventure Team, Paintball obviously, and also Galactic Tourism. How about you?"

"Are you not in the group chat?" Gray asked. "We'll have to fix that. There's an argument about whether or not Raiden's allowed to give the secrets of breakfast cake away to the masses.

"Aw, I don't have any of those. I'm in the one about new hobbies and 'Relax and Chill.' Which I'm totally gonna ace," he joked.

"Top student in that class," she grinned. "And okay...what if he makes us breakfast cake but teaches us something else? Oh! Or like has it for introduction week like as an example of why breakfast is so great!"

It was possible Arden didn't care so much about the learning and just wanted breakfast cake.
