With no further ado, she led them through the portal.

"Welcome to Hawaii. Oahu, to be more precise. To be perfectly accurate, the Dole Plantation. It's where they sell pineapples, which are an interesting fruit that tries to eat you back. You can tour the gardens, have lunch, or go through the pineapple maze. We've got four hours and nineteen minutes here, so enjoy!"

Lydia was rather excited about today's adventure. She'd had pineapple since coming to Fandom, of course, but in her home era a pineapple was something rich people rented for their centerpiece, not something one casually bought and consumed. Going to where they were grown felt like exploring the very source of luxury.
