Cupcake Wars (Yes, Again), Friday 3/21, 3rd period
“It’s spring,” Stark said, glancing out the window with a faint smile. “As of yesterday. At least here in this part of this world. So today we’ll make spring cupcakes.”
He paused, considered his next words for a moment and then decided that it was best to say them after all. “No actual springs involved. No metal or plastic. Just spring like the season.”
He nodded towards the collection of ingredients on display. “I have some candied flowers as decoration because that’s very spring-like. Some fruits, like strawberry. And lemon. Pastel colored candies because those are spring colors. Butterflies. Not real ones.” Ew.
“Egg candies because there are lots of things hatching this time of year. And I have the chick and bunny marshmallows.”
“So, have fun. Make something spring-y?”
