Campsite Gym, Wednesday night

Tyler? Pedaling about as fast as the exercise bike will go. It's training, yo.

And every few minutes, he looks to see if anyone is about to join him.

He's not sure how he wants the sparring match to turn out, although not beating English Peter into a coma would be a good step for him.

Cameron wandered in, strangely enough he also had a 35mm camera and a banana with him. "Yo, Stickbugs and non-stickbugs," he greeted.

Bel nodded in greeting to Cam as he continued to pummel the poor punching bag.

Cameron raised an eyebrow. "Rough day?"

"Just got some news I didn't want to hear," Bel grunted, aiming a punch at the bag that almost knocked it off its chain.

Putting his camera and banana safely to the side, Cameron started on some stretches. "What sort of news?"

"The kind of news about someone lying to you," Bel said. "The kind that really pisses you off."

Cameron winced and turned his attention away from Tyler and Peter's sparring match. "Yeah, that sucks. I take it this wasn't the little white lie either."

"No, was a pretty big one," Bel said. "The kind of one you don't know if you can forgive."

"That's a hard one," he frowned. "Did you ask why they kept it from you?"

"No, I haven't," Bel said. "Not sure if I'll like the answer."

"You might not like it, but it might at least help you understand why," Cameron said. Catching the movement of the sparring match, he turned his head and winced as Tyler landed a particularly hard punch.

Bel watched Tyler and Peter spar as well. "Huh," he said. "That kid's a fighter."

"They both seem to be," Cameron didn't stop frowning as the fight got pretty rough for a spar. He shook his head and got back on topic again, one eye still on the match.

"What I meant is that while lying never is a good thing, sometimes there's a reason behind it. Stupid as it might be, it might be worth to hear it out before passing final judgment."

Peter wasn't there yet, so Tyler could pause in his pedaling to wave to Cam. "Yo back," he said. "What's up?"

Cameron waved his banana at Peter. "I am now an official photography student. Go figure."

Tyler leaned back on the bicycle seat. "Ah, art. Very important to life," he said. "You know, a picture is worth a thousand words."

"I bet," Cameron considered his banana, grinned and held it out to Tyler. "Hold that for a moment?"

Tyler considered it, then hopped off the bike so he could reach the banana. "Okay," he said, taking it gingerly around the middle.

"Cool, just do whatever," Cameron smirked and started taking pictures. "How's it going?"

Tyler grinned and held the banana to his ear like a phone. "Good. Library training today. Waiting for English Peter to spar. Got to play basketball yesterday."

He looked skeptically at the banana. "Want this back?"

Cameron quickly snapepd one from the telephone banana because you never knew what sort of subjects Veronica might come up with. "Yeah, I might actually make some more pictures I want to take," he replied.

"You play basketball?"

Tyler nodded. "Yeah, Buffy kind of drafted me. We had a practice last night."

He paused, assessing Cam. "Do you play?"

"I guess you're lucky she didn't try to recruit you for cheerleading," Cameron chuckled and nodded. "Yep, I used to be on the basketball team at my pervious school."

"We could use you," Tyler said. "Most of us have only played street games, as far as I can tell. I don't know when the next practice will be, but want to come play with us whenever we do it?"

"Sure, I was actually going to ask Buffy if she still had room on the team," Cameron smiled. "Just let me know when and I'll be there."
