"Since we went to a museum last time," Lana began, "this time we're headed to something more of a tourist trap." Also one that greatly amused her. "Generally speaking, those are places that draw a lot of tourists and charge them a lot for everything from souvenirs to basic needs, and that aren't necessarily cultural. So, something that lots of people find interesting, but that isn't terribly important."

The portal arrived and she waved them through, grinning. "Welcome to the International UFO Museum. Let's see what Earth has to say about aliens."

She was looking forward to it. And to buy something for Atton in the gift shop; the cheesier the better.

Oh this was going to be funny.

Sabine was happy to check everything out! But Earth had some... ideas about this sort of thing that were kind of adorable. Aside from their idea of aliens looking kind of Bith-adjacent.

Sabine took a second to consider it. "I personally think it's too silly for that, not a non-human might think differently. They're certainly enthusiastic about this."

"They really are." Lana shook her head at one of the images. "Do you think aliens did visit this planet or not?"

"I think the crash probably did happen," Sabine said thoughtfully. "If there haven't been any bigger moves in the last eighty years I don't think they've been back since. Or at least not nearly as much as people claim. What do you think?"

"That sounds plausible," Lana mused. "If it was real, perhaps they were lost. If nobody's come looking in decades, they may have been far off course."

Sabine nodded. "Or there's something about the planet or people they don't like. Atmosphere, too much water, too little water..."

"Could be just about anything, with as varied as this place is," Lana said, shaking her head. "I could keep at this class for years, and still find new things."

"How many times have you run it now?" Sabine asked.

And she probably should have taken it before now. In her defense, her decisions were generally bad.

"This is the fourth," Lana said. "Although the others were all visiting places I thought might be interesting, and a lot of natural beauty, whereas this is more what the humans of Earth find interesting."
