Some traditions were important even when they weren't necessarily needed. While there weren't any new students for Anakin to terrorize with the shuttle to welcome, there were still reasons to celebrate. The new semester was here! Everyone had survived the holidays! It was Saturday and there was pretty snow on the ground!

Whether you wanted to honor tradition, talk about the coming weeks, or just enjoy some free food and warm drinks by a tasteful bonfire, the welcome picnic was here for you.

Graham and Triumph were all about enjoying free food, warm drinks, and good company, even when there was nothing particularly new about the company that might be gathered. After all, there could still be people he didn't know! That were nee to him! And especially Triumph!

Plus, Triumph did love getting out of the Stables every so often to just sort of run around and be awesome, too.

As evidenced by Belle planting a kiss on his nose when she spotted him. Before turning to Graham with a cheerful "Sir Knight!"

Belle was bundled up in her cloak and found a seat by the bonfire. She could hardly skip a picnic! Even if there were no entirely new people to meet it was always nice to see her other friends, especially those who might have been scarce over the break.
