Fun Animal Facts, Thursday - 1st Period

Well, there was a moose in the classroom for your final class. A moose with an obviously fake red nose.

And Jane was just pinching the bridge of her nose. "We tried to get reindeer, I swear we did."

"Apparently they're in short supply this time of year," Cara said by way of explanation. "It was this or a teal deer."

They probably would've been better off with the teal deer.

"How about we just take this as a mixed success and hope everyone has a very nice holiday season," Jane suggested as the moose's fake nose fell off.

"And maybe don't plan flying anywhere by moose light."

"So tell me!" said Graham, after offing his cap with a respectful bow toward the moose. "What's you're favorite part about being a moose?"

The moose continued to just stand there, being a moose, and Graham's head bobbed in a nod.

"I see, I see," he said, "and if you were a reindeer, what do you think you'd like best about that?"

The moose kept on moosin' on.

"Ah, of course, of course," Graham agreed amicably. "And now, the twenty dollar question....what's your favorite flavor of jellybean?"

The moose moosed like a thing that moosed, and Graham squinted at it suspiciously now.

"Okay," he said, "a man of mystery, I see. Alright, then, keep your secrets."

Belle was going to just drop a curtsy at the moose along with a "Good morning, sir."

That seemed safe enough.
