Lana met them all at Portalocity and made sure they were dressed warmly, and passed out waterproof ponchos to anyone who didn't have one left over from Niagara.

"We're going to another waterfall today. This one is a lot smaller, but also a lot taller." She led them through the portal and to a wonderful view of Angel Falls. "This is Angel Falls, the tallest uninterrupted waterfall on Earth. It's difficult to get here by traditional means, but fortunately we have portals."

She smiled and hefted a large bag. "I thought we'd have a relaxing day and make a picnic of it. I brought moddable pastries and drinks from the Perk. Enjoy the view and have something."

"Hi, Professor Lana," Arden said, coming over towards the end of class. "I got your message. Thank you for checking in on me. I'm..." A pause. "On the mend, definitely."

Lana nodded. "Glad to hear it. And please do remember me should you need any healing. Though to be honest, I'm better at wounds than illness. Still, it's good to see you back."

"Thank you," Arden said, with a smile. "Usually I'm a pretty fast healer, but this was, ah, a bit different. But this is honestly much better." Not the comfort you thought it was, Arden. "I figure I'll probably be mostly good in the next few days, then it's just building up my stamina again."

"Good to know." Lana gave her a rueful smile. "Getting back up to speed is the worst. Try not to overdo it." Never use her as an example, in other words.
