Morality of Action, Wednesday Afternoon

"Hmph," Kreia spoke, as she entered the Danger Shop a few moments after the students. To whom that dismissive, disappointed noise was directed? It was not clear.

"Today, you will play a game," she said. "I have been told it is traditional for the people of this place. It is simple."

She nodded towards what... very much looked like a regular gym hall.

"There sits a sphere at the center of this court," she said. "You will divide into two groups. Strike another with that sphere, and they must leave the court. Whoever is left standing, wins. If only one team remains, then its members must battle to see who achieves the prize."

She looked at the students, her expression severe. "We shall see what choices you make."

And with that, she solemnly walked to the bleachers, where she sat down and radiated disdain.

"And what is the prize you mentioned?" Of course Liliana asked. There were a number of factors that she was weighing to decide what she was going to do, and what this mythical prize was was only one of them.

Liliana smiled faintly at the idea of anything in this school being able to satisfy the true desires of her heart, but still looked thoughtful at the idea. A future reprieve could come in handy for any number of reasons.

She sat on the bleachers to consider her next steps. Assuming this was a test of some kind - Liliana generally assumed that everything Kreia had them say or do was a test and didn't fully believe that last week's class wasn't one, either - she doubted it was as simple as 'hit each other with a ball until one you are the last one standing.' The trick was figuring out what the test was - and also, if Liliana wanted to play along regardless.

"I'll be taking some time to consider my actions and options, thank you," she declared to her fellow blue teammates, should any of them ask why she was sitting down.

Well, Arden was there with the ball? So that was a start.

Cal also had a ball, but wasn't doing anything besides tossing it back and forth in his hands. "This feels a little unfair." The 'to everyone besides me' was implied.

Arden was already rolling her eyes as him. "Didn't you say that about Paintball, too, Kestis? You are so lucky that I--" a pause as she remembered where they were. "--am also not a Jedi with your weird cheaty Force powers," she finished, very much what she had been planning to say the WHOLE TIME, honestly.

And giving the ball a speculative look that she was also giving to Cal.

Obviously not here. But Remy and Kams had used Midnight as a training facility. Hmm.

"Would you talk as much game if you couldn't use the Force?"

"Probably," Cal admitted. "But I wouldn't be as confident about it. What are you thinking? I can hear the gears turning from here."

She glanced around the room and shook her head slightly. Too public, between the rest of the class and the squirrels that were lurking around, too.

"Just how I'm looking forward to kicking your ass, Kestis," she retorted. "You're just full of hot air."

And Lana was on her team, so she was coming up next to her and shrugging.

"I have no idea how this is supposed to demonstrate morality," she admitted. "But as powers weren't forbidden, I'm perfectly willing to shield us all from the ball. Actually," she added with a grin, "I could do it for our team and Cal for his, and nobody ever get hit."

How was that for morality? Or possibly just "this is a silly game".

"Sure!" Arden said. "Maybe that'll stop him from being so bratty about his powers."

She was gonna bean him in the head if she got the opportunity, just watch.

Lana laughed. "I think it's a Jedi thing. But I'm up for it if he is. Play...what is that game? Pinball! Pinball the ball between shields."

Graham had a ball and was ready, squinting a little at anyone on the other team, as he stood there and was absolutely already overthinking this, trying to come up with the 'right' plan of action.
