"Well, guys," said Gladio, with a big grin at the class as he gave the big sword that had been wresting on his shoulders a casual little twirl off of it and to his side, "it's the last class, which pretty much means I want you guys to really work on what we've gone over this semester, ask any questions if there's anything you'd like to learn a little more about or if there's anything I didn't touch on that you were sort of hoping I would and pretty much get in at least one more good session of sparring and practicing.

"Now, the real tricky thing with a class like this," he added, "is that these are skills that need to keep being worked on and practiced beyond these seven weeks. If you were here to just sort of give it a try and see if you like it and that's that, then I hope you at least got plenty to take with you. But if it's something you took because you were hoping to develop this skills for good, then remember that this doesn't end here. It's important to keep going, and while training on your own might work for you, just know that I'm willing to take this beyond this classroom, too. If you're interested, let me know, maybe we can arrange some sort of extra-curricular thing. I am always up for more training, more learning, and more fighting."

His grin flashed broad again.

"But enough talk. Let's get warmed up, and let's get to hitting things with big, sharp sticks."

Nell was here if anyone wanted to spar, otherwise she'd be practicing on her own.

He really means it, too, if anyone wants to keep this sword stuff going! It's what he's working on most mornings already, anyway!

"I think I might like to do more of this," Nell said with a smile. "It's fun."

"Gladio you've been enjoying it," Gladio said, with a grin right back. "Maybe we can work it into when we're at the gym together, I can show you some stuff to really impress those warrior women of yours, yeah?"

"Yes!" Nell said. "That would be wonderful! I'd love to show them something impressive."

"We'll work on something, then," Gladio assured her eith a nod, "with some of the practice swords."

He snorted, faintly, thinking of some of the maneuvers he used to pull with Noct, but he wasn't so sure Nell would be quite so willing to be just tossed around like that. Plus, you know, the lack of teleworking powers really took some of the pizazz out of it anyway.

"But, hey, congrats in surviving to the end without your arms falling off."

Nell laughed, then dramatically looked over at both arms. "Are they still there? I can't tell."

"Here," Gladio said, "lemme check."

And he stepped closer so that his hands could do a little pat-down of Nell's arms, feeling her hands a little, lightly testing their bendability before reaching a conclusion with a knowing nod.

"Yup, still there. And looking better than ever. Before long, maybe you'll be the one carrying me home."

"If you weren't so darn tall I could do it now," Nell said with a mock grumble. "Even if I throw you over my shoulder some part of you is going to be dragging on the ground."
