Paintball, 1st Period - Monday

It was just Tony this week and he was a little distracted by what was happening, it seemed.

"Hey. Hi. Steve's out of town, so I'll be a little less competition today."

Just what everyone wanted, right?

"And were learning that maybe roadside attractions as the obstacle course was a bad idea." But it's what they had! "So, be safe with it, won't you?"

If anyone got crushed by a ball of twine, he'd be so upset.

Arden looked less certain. "You mean because I'm healing up okay?" she asked.

"That, and no one tracked you back here, yeah?" Cal said. "No one from home has gotten in touch? You're still safe here."

Arden shrugged. "Not yet but that doesn't mean it won't," she said. "If they recognized me, they recognized that I'm an Elemental and they're working for the Duskwatch, or they recognized me, and they're working for Callista. Neither of them are going to move quickly. If nothing happens in a week or so, I'll feel more comfortable. Until then, I'm gonna be all tension."

"So you need distractions, got it. I'm sure I can think of a few ideas," Cal offered. "I might have to get creative. Stress baking is a thing, right?"

Yes more proof Cal was ace; there was no way he could say that with a straight face, even if he wasn't interested in her.

"Stress baking is absolutely a thing," Arden said. "Even if you only want me to stress bake so you have nighttime goodies. I'm onto you, Kestis."
