"Welcome to Fandom Olympics!" he announced instead through his--as always--completely unnecessary bullhorn. "The events you are participating in were chosen at random last night by five porgs spinning a wheel on which all Olympic events were listed. I am calling it the most modern pentathalon!"

If the pause was for applause, he'd be waiting a bit.

"Listen for your names! No powers!"

He might as well be shooting fish in a barrel.

Steve was more used to throwing something that looked like the clay disks, but that didn't mean that when called for, he couldn't absolutely obliterate them with small arms fire.

It was even a little bit fun!

Eleanor winced with every shot...both her own and everyone else's, and had pretty much resigned herself to not have managed to get any of these.

The one she did manage to get was completely by accident, actually.

Arden did now. And she was pretty sure that if this had been about paintballing the...skeets?...her abysmal score would have been, well, slightly less abysmal.

"....barbaric," Stewart proclaimed, curling his lip up at the idea of holding a gun and shooting at things, but, let's face it, he grew up in rural Canada. He might despise the practice, but he'd been roped into bush shooting a few times in his youth by his cousins. He mostly just did it quickly so that he could get all of this over with and go back to his place to shoot something he did enjoy, like...drugs. Or faceless anonymous teenagers on CoD.

Miguel frowned. He looked over the old-fashioned rifle and gave it a try. He missed the first one, overcompensated and missed the second one the opposite direction, and then hit most of the rest at one section or another.

You might not think a blind man could shoot that well. But guns were one thing Arthur could handle, even if he was more used to a pistol. He let John sight the targets and follow them, and...

Now, Arthur!

Pulled the trigger. And there went one target. They hit most of them, Arthur grinning.

Well, more or less. Wickham had thought it was a good idea for her to learn how to shoot, even though they both knew the person she was most likely to want to shoot at any given time was in fact Wickham. Her experience with moving targets was nil, but the gun was much easier to handle than the ones she was used to from 1810, and when she actually managed to hit one of the discs she was thoroughly delighted with herself and looked around to see if her teammates or friends had seen that.

Gray slept through this round, which was perhaps for the best as he didn't really like guns.

Thor would have done better if he'd been allowed to use Mjolnir instead of a gun, but the principle of hitting a moving target remained the same, and he performed quite admirably.

Honestly, Mariner's main issue with this one was remembering that had these guns had more recoil than a phaser.
