"Welcome to Fandom Olympics!" he announced instead through his--as always--completely unnecessary bullhorn. "The events you are participating in were chosen at random last night by five porgs spinning a wheel on which all Olympic events were listed. I am calling it the most modern pentathalon!"

If the pause was for applause, he'd be waiting a bit.

"Listen for your names! No powers!"

Dean showed up because there was certainly no way he'd be chosen again after so many weeks of being forced to participate. No. Way.

"Arden." Lana nodded to her. "I'm sorry you missed yesterday. Is everything all right?"

Arden opened her mouth to answer, closed it, unconsciously directed another glare in Anakin's direction - surely unrelated! - and then shrugged. "I'm okay," she replied, since she had skipped to be the emotional supporter, not the emotional supportee. "I'm sorry to have missed class, though. And I used my shift today to read up about it!"

You know, like you'd assigned for homework!

"It's a fascinating place, isn't it?" Lana asked.

She saw that glare, but to be honest, most people were glaring at Anakin on Wednesdays, so she made no particular note of it.

Right? Glaring at Anakin on Wednesdays was basically it own pastime. Especially since radio didn't give any details, which Arden was actually grateful for. "Oh yes, it looks gorgeous in all the pictures. Like a perfect mirror."

"You should try to make it there sometime if you can," Lana suggested. "Especially right around sunrise or sunset."
