Yeah, it was definitely still hot out, but turned out to be better than Gladio expected from the forecast, so they were definitely back in the preserve this week. Which was why everyone was also going to be getting a quick lecture on how to keep cool when it's hot while camping, and, since he liked you all so much, not only did the packs include plenty of water (and water packs!), but also some different portable fans to help with everything, too.
Look, the class was written earlier this week when the forecast said it was going to be a lot hotter, and the person who wrote it is having a day, so we're just going to run with it, shush.
"The last thing I want you guys to take away from this class," he said with a grin, "is just a bad case of heatstroke. But keeping cool isn't the only thing we're hopefully doing today, but I'll explain more once we're at the campsite. Until then, take a few moments, protect yourself against the heat and the sun, and we'll get heading out as soon as everyone's ready."

And water! Don't forget to drink more water! You probably haven't had enough water!
Class Activity: Treasure Hunt! - Camping, 06/28.
"These," he announced, "are treasure maps of the preserve. And, if you follow them, assuming any squirrels or gremlins or raccoons haven't messed with where I hid them, you'll find an X in stones marking the spot where the treasure is laid. You'll find some trowels in your packs this week, too; don't worry, I didn't bury them too deep. There's a few different ones, so if you want to go it alone or pair up or even try to find them all together, you've got that option. But that's what we'll do for the rest of the class, and if you get sick of treasure hunting or just want to sit it out, well, I've got some iced tea and some corn on the cob to roast up with all sorts of ways to dress it up. And if some of you are thinking that that sounds too good to pass up and don't want to go treasure hunting at all, well, just trust me when I say, the treasure'll be well worth the effort."
Did the wink he gave everyone just now help or hinder your urge to go hunting for this treasure? Guess we'll find out.
(Spoiler alert: all the treasure is just shoeboxes filled with Cup NoodleTM cups. You're welcome).

You know what? Treasure hunting sounded fine. Jon looked around to see if anybody else wanted to join him.
