When everyone arrived in Caritas, they would find that the bar had been lined up with shots. Lots of shots. Of every kind and color. There was also a big wheel for people to spin that had various instructions Dean had written on it."

"Today, we are trying two drinking games," Dean declared. "Which really aren't games but something I just made up on the way over here. I don't know why Tino has a giant wheel to spin but that means having a personal conversation with him and I'm not going there. Anyway! The game."

Dean gestured to the line up of shots. "Take two shots. That's the first rule."

Anyone with any kind of insight might suspect that Dean had obeyed that rule more than once already.

"After that the game is this: pick a shot. Guess what's in the glass. It could be Tequila. It could be vodka. It could be bourbon. It could even be water. If you guess incorrectly you have to spin the wheel and then drunk text someone on your phone based on what you get. And then take another to guess at until you get it right."

Or if you're Navaan just keep drinking.

Mod your own drinking experience and who you text! Drink a shot and get it right or be more fun and get it wrong. Spin the wheel if you need inspiration or just randomly text a character in the game and blame it on the alcohol. Or blame it on mixed up phone day.

Dean picked up a shot and declared "Vodka!" and downed it. And then chuckled. "Nope. That was rum."

He spun the wheel and it landed on "Text your mom 'Don't be mad'."

Dean stared at the wheel and frowned. And then shrugged. "All right then."

And texted someone

Zoe could be subtle when it was important, so she waited a minute after she felt her phone vibrate to pull it out, look at the text, and respond.

Who needed things like reasons?

"Augh, ptah! OKAY, WHO PUT WATER IN A SHOT GLASS? YOU'RE GETTING PUNCHED!"

Dean immediately pointed at Tino. He was not going to remind her about the non-violence teleportation spell.

Fortunately for Tino and Navaan, she had immediately gotten distracted by the wheel. After spinning it a few times for funsies, Navaan then began playing the game. Except instead of doing it when she guessed wrong, she just did it for fun. While often times ignoring what the wheel said. And also instead of texting, just straight calling people. Like a monster.


Of course that meant that everyone in class could hear the messages she left for people. The many, many, MANY messages she left for people.

At certain points in Navaan's calling spree Thor miiiiight have had two different ringtones coming from his pockets, and he might be making a mental note to, in the future, silence Don's phone when it got left behind on the bedside table instead of taking a ride to the void with him.

He would give Stark technology this much, it held up to blinking in and out of existence several times a week beautifully.

Navaan noticed the disparity and looked up at him. "Is that a phone in your pants or are you just happy to see me?" she asked.

Look, 'noticed' and 'put pieces together were separate skills.'

Here was the thing: Don was kind of halfway considering it, because Don hadn't had sex since before he died and spent more than ten years stranded in the void of nonexistence, and Thor couldn't talk sense into him or introduce him to hookup apps in the middle of a bar full of people (and Navaan).

So if looks could kill Navaan would be toast, but luckily for her, not even the god of thunder had that talent. He wasn't Cyclops. "It is a phone," he said flatly.

Hopefully tomorrow's class would remind Don why he absolutely should not fuck the crazy vampire, even if she was hot.

Counterpoint: He absolutely should. What was Thor so afraid of? What was wrong with a little (or a lotta) sex? They'd bang, they'd flang, they'd have a great time. Was that so wrong?

"Could be both!" she said cheerfully, either not aware of or not caring about his stinkface.

Dean just stood there and boggled at Navaan for a moment.

"First: I'm standing right here," Dean said slowly. "And B: I-"

He glanced at Jane quickly and then back at Navaan.

"I'm seeing someone."

On the plus side she knew her alcohol. "This is Malibu," she said, and put down the shot. She'd even get more specific if you wanted!
