Booze Tasting & Drinking Games - Thursday 1st Period

Caritas had been set up the night before for Dean with bottles of Whiskey lined up along with an organized set of glasses. Which included a note from Summer which made Dean chuckle when he read it.

It was a good thing everything was set up too as Dean was not at peak performance and frequently had to cover his mouth as he kept burping quietly into his hand. And each time making a face afterwards.

Once everyone arrived, Dean held up a bottle of whiskey and smiled. “Welcome to booze tasting and drinking games. I’m your host, Dean Winchester, and today’s beverage of choice is whiskey. You drink it and it makes you feel good. Too much and you feel bad. For today’s game we’re playing two truths and a lie. But everyone should drink at least one glass before we start.

"Oh, she was my research assistant while I worked on my PhD. Wormhole theory."

"The Bifrost," Thor murmured. "Apparently."

Yeah, remind her of how you had been listening in on her conversations with Don, Thor, that was bound to go well.

Oh yeah, that wasn't at all causing Jane's expression to go tight and awkward. That was just the lighting in the bar!

"Yes," Jane replied with a little more forced confidence. She hadn't poured years of her life into that for it to be disregarded. "The Bifrost was the framework for it."

Well, he didn't know that! Also, he was kind of being an asshole, because that was what he did when things got awkward. "Perhaps the Bifrost is different where you are from," he suggested.

You know, that was pretty spot on across the board for Thor! Which was definitely not at all why Jane was reacting the way she was. Nooo, nooo. Don't be silly.

"Some things are different," she agreed. "Some things are exactly the same."

Yeah, maybe they should just... take a step back there.
