Booze Tasting & Drinking Games - Thursday 1st Period

Caritas had been set up the night before for Dean with bottles of Whiskey lined up along with an organized set of glasses. Which included a note from Summer which made Dean chuckle when he read it.

It was a good thing everything was set up too as Dean was not at peak performance and frequently had to cover his mouth as he kept burping quietly into his hand. And each time making a face afterwards.

Once everyone arrived, Dean held up a bottle of whiskey and smiled. “Welcome to booze tasting and drinking games. I’m your host, Dean Winchester, and today’s beverage of choice is whiskey. You drink it and it makes you feel good. Too much and you feel bad. For today’s game we’re playing two truths and a lie. But everyone should drink at least one glass before we start.

Excuse you, Dean, Raiden had a backwards baseball cap apparently permanently attached to his head. Thor had a helmet with wings. They were clearly totally different people. "Thor," he said, and then added because he believed it had been on the paperwork, "Odinson. Well met, Dean Winchester. I do not know this...Raiden, but I am newly come to this isle."

And now Dean's eyes were once again shifting back and forth between Thor and Jane again. Ooooookay.

"Right. New to the island."

Now Dean was pouring himself a drink. Two Thors in one room. This should be interesting.

"I've been the new guy for a while on the island. Most people are pretty friendly and will recognize you're new right off the bat. And don't let them try to break your brain with the weird. It's better to just roll with it."

The corner of Thor's mouth turned up. "I think you will find it is hard to...'break my brain.'" He came from the 616, Dean. Most of you were little infants when it came to weird.

Jane, now. Jane was weird.

Thor raised his glass to his lips as he said, "My head is very hard, after all." Was that a joke?

Nothing could top 616 weirdness. Nothing.

Dean chuckled regardless if it was a joke or not. "Yeah, well then you'll fit in well around here. Some stuff has thrown me but all in all it's still a pretty interesting place to live. What brings you to the island?"

Since he couldn't exactly say 'Blake's job offer' to someone who didn't know about Blake, Thor just shrugged. "It is as good a place as any. More interesting than some. I have some hope that certain knowledge I seek might be found here."

"Oh, yeah? What knowledge is that?" Dean asked. "I've been known to do some research."

Or at least leave it to Sam.

"It is likely beyond your mortal ken." Somewhere in the void, Don shouted, Hey! and a flicker of--something--went across Thor's face at his inability to tell his other half that obviously he wasn't talking about him. "I seek to restore Asgard."

"... Yeah, that's a little out of my realm of knowledge. But I do have some old viking relics stashed away in a storehouse. I'll take a look and see if any of them would be useful for you."

"I would appreciate that," Thor said with a nod. Did it occur to him to ask why Dean had Viking relics stashed away? Of course not. Mortals did weird things.
