Arts & Crafts For Beginners [Thursday, Period Three]

Class was in the Danger Shop this week, and Cara looked resigned. Incredibly so. Was it because the possibility of violence had been greatly diminished with this class? Or was it the tub of glitter that sat next to the rest of the supplies for today's craft? That glitter would last aaaall semester long, folks.

Enjoy it.

"Hello everyone," Jane said, already distracted by glitter on her cape. How did it get there already?? "Welcome to Arts and Crafts. I'm Jane..."

"And I'm planning revenge on the moose." Sweet, sweet, never to be achieved revenge.

"Cara," Jane said with a sigh. "This is Cara. Sorry, this was one of those assigned to us classes. But we're making it work!"

Were they?

"With slime," Jane added. "And introductions."

And the dilemma of whether they had to touch slime with their bare hands or risk getting glitter slime all over their leather gloves. Or was that just Cara?

It's full of chemicals and glitter! So much glitter.

Theoretically, all the glitter should vanish when you leave the Danger Shop, but alas, like life, glitter finds a way.

Stewart

Kamala Khan

So walking into a classroom and seeing Cara and Jane...

That looked like Thor armor.

Plus the hair. The muscles.

Kamala just sat there staring, going through all the possibilities in her head. Thor variant from another reality? There were rumors of a new Thor in New Asgard. Cosplayer? Nah, that armor was way to authentic.

Her brain was just a circle of thoughts.

"Right! Introductions," Kamala said as she gathered the ingredients for the slime.

And let's be honest, she's been through a couple of slime phases in her life so this recipe would be easy for her.

"I'm Kamala Khan, incoming Fandom U freshman from Jersey City."

Gray

Beaker

"Meep meep meep meep meep," Beaker said. "Meep meep!"

Could slime explode? Asking for a friend.

Gonzo the Great

"I'm Gonzo!" Gonzo said, stretching his slime from fleece hand to fleece hand. (That stuff was never coming out.) "And this is great!"

No one should ever have taught Gonzo to make slime. Good god.

Every day at this school seemed to reveal itself to be more and more...intriguing, didn't it? This was hardly what one would expect out of Arts & Crafts instructors.

Then again, one hardly expected to be taking arts and crafts at an allegedly college level.

But Stewart was....intrigued. He certainly wasn't in Letterkenny anymore.

"Stewart," Stewart offered, simply enough, with a slightly distracted tilt of his hat,because all the chemicals and glitter were calling his name.

Not...literally. He was...mostly clean and sober at the moment.

Mostly. Although some of his other classmates were making him wonder about the accuracy of that right now.

"I'm Gray," Gray said on a yawn, "and I'm--I'm gonna try real hard not to fall asleep in the slime."
