Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Whoever worked the weather magic around here had done an excellent job to make sure things were nice outside for all the new (and old) residents of Fandom. It was warm and sunny, but not so humid that people would melt. There was plenty of moddable food and drinks, places to sit in the shade, and more than enough nametags to go around. It was time to celebrate the start of the summer!

"Sorry," Charlie said, not that she looked terribly bothered by it. "Canadian, very large family of what people here might call witches, but we emphatically don't. Me far less emphatically than the Aunties who really get aggravated by it."

She shrugged. "What with being able to charm pretty much anything, dealing with the UnderRealm, and the Aunties basically being able to influence the Universe to make sure that what they want to have happens happens... Other people's weird is kind of our status quo. Though there are definitely things here that hit high even on my strange meter."

Charlie just grinned at her. It's okay, you didn't have to take her word for it, Henry.

"Just remember I'm here if things get weird," she said. "It's kind of my job now, to help you out of you need it."
