Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Whoever worked the weather magic around here had done an excellent job to make sure things were nice outside for all the new (and old) residents of Fandom. It was warm and sunny, but not so humid that people would melt. There was plenty of moddable food and drinks, places to sit in the shade, and more than enough nametags to go around. It was time to celebrate the start of the summer!

See, context clues were proving incredibly useful today, because this girl had no idea what bran or a blueberry was, but she could kind of figure out what he meant anyway!

"Sometimes people tell themselves what they gotta tell themselves," Lucy sighed, grinning back, before offering out her hand for a shake. (Complete with a delightfully necrotic index finger, don't mind that, Steve!) "Lucy MacLean. I think I work for your husband as of a couple days ago?"

The 'I think' was less towards the hiring -- she was solid on that -- and more towards hoping she had indeed found the correct man based off Tony's pointing.

Steve shook her hand and made no mention of the finger because he was polite like that. "You've met Tony?" he asked with a smile. "I was out of town for a few days, so welcome!"
