Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Whoever worked the weather magic around here had done an excellent job to make sure things were nice outside for all the new (and old) residents of Fandom. It was warm and sunny, but not so humid that people would melt. There was plenty of moddable food and drinks, places to sit in the shade, and more than enough nametags to go around. It was time to celebrate the start of the summer!

"I know what you mean," Steven said. "Things have been busy and then Llewellyn's been feeling poorly. First chance I've had to pop my head out and say hello in a while. Thank you so much for the new furniture, by the way. Would you believe we have three new residents already? Giving them furnished rooms has been dead handy."

"Send my best wishes for Watts to have a speedy recovery. It is good to see you and hear things are going so well with Midnight." Dwight said with a small grin. "And I am glad the furniture and all has been serving you well. Been meaning to get over and see if there was anything that you and Marc or Watts need."

"If nothing else pop by and see how your handiwork looks," Steven said. Then he looked sheepish. "I know it's the same as last time but still. New rooms! Exciting. We've a good group so far. People getting along and all that. It's been lovely."

"As long as it is serving its purpose and is holding up then I am content with that praise. But I will have to stop by sometime to see you or Marc. The shop has been getting a bit lonely lately, even with Snoopy causing his usual mischief" he would admit.

"You're welcome at any time," Steven told him. He looked thoughtful, then plunged ahead, "Actually, we've been meaning to mention if ever there's trouble and you need it, you're absolutely welcome to come to Midnight. I know that might not be comfortable for you given past history, but we wanted to extend the invitation all the same. The three of us, I mean. Marc, Llewellyn, and me."

A small smile would spread across Dwigth's face at that. "Thank you Steven, that... that means a lot. And while Midnight and I didn't get started on the right foot, I of all people know what it's like to not have a say in certain things. I will keep it in mind should the need ever arise. Thank you my friend."

"Of course. What are friends for?" Steven replied, happy as always to be considered someone's friend. "Of course hopefully there's never danger enough on the island to come to that. But you're included with it all the same. How's your business been? Other than boarding houses in need?"
