Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Whoever worked the weather magic around here had done an excellent job to make sure things were nice outside for all the new (and old) residents of Fandom. It was warm and sunny, but not so humid that people would melt. There was plenty of moddable food and drinks, places to sit in the shade, and more than enough nametags to go around. It was time to celebrate the start of the summer!

And people wondered why he preferred to avoid this things like the plague!

At least Boc managed to spot Arden coming, a look of desperation on his face and his hands limply wringing in front of him as he wondered if it was too late to just hide under the table.

It was definitely too late to hide under the table.

"Oh," he said. "Oh, erm, hel-hello, miss, and thank you,but no. I'm....I'm quite alright, that's very kind of you to offer."

Anything out of his reach was clearly not meant for Bocs, Arden!

Mmm, sounds fake. Arden would be pressing X to doubt if she knew any gamer lore at all.

"Well, if you change your mind, I don't mind," she said. "Even if it's just going up to the table to get you something." She looked at him, Boc clearly distressed and herself unable to fix it.

"Um, I have a bunch of pictures of me in my dressed over the week. They were all so beautiful, Boc; I felt like a princess in them. Would you like to see?"

"Pictures?" said Boc, blinking up at Arden for a moment, and he almost managed to hold his gaze there for a bit longer, but it did ultimately drop back down. "Oh, yes, I'd like to see them. Very much. Did you have a good time, then? On your trip? Did they suit your needs well?"

"They did and they were lovely, I got so many compliments on them," Arden assured him. "Would you rather I showed them to you tomorrow? Over a cinnamon roll? And I had..." She paused to figure out how to phrase it. "As much fun as it was possible for me to have," she finally landed on.
