"Terrible." Blair sneered. "I am disgusted by the lack of political ads here in the school. How are the students going to go up to be productive members of society without proper influence from their leaders?"

Blair leaned back from Pippi's hand. "Is there a problem?"

"I was... Just thinking how much fun it was going on the dig in the Danger Shop last week..."

Nadia let out a very soft *snerk*ing noise before regaining her composure.

"I can see what you mean, sir." She looked at Pippi with a raised eyebrow. "Obviously, these students require guidance."

Blair shook his head. "I obviously think that we should always obey our elders and authority figures. But if you ask me, the dig would have been better if it had taken place in America."

"Uh... We were in America..." said Pippi. "It was just a pretend dig."

"You should write a report on that for the administration."

Keep a straight face. This isn't funny. Not even a little. Very, very serious.

Walter looked back and forth between Blair and Nadia, since she seemed to be picking up whatever virus had infected Blair. He leaned under the table to make sure there were no gremlins scurrying away after having bitten her, too.

"Pretending to be Egypt." Blair sneered. "And don't even get me started on the study of cultures. Blah blah tribes blah. American culture is the most important anyway."

"Okay! That's it!" Pippi stood up and grabbed Blair's arm gently but firmly.

"You sir, are going to the Clinic. Walter? Ivanova? Get Nadia, she's obviously infected ~~by the Reagan Pods~~ as well."

She hauled him carefully to his feet.

"Let's go."

"Excuse me!" Blair glared at Pippi. "You're going to rumple my suit."

Nadia grabbed her notebook and a pen. If Blair was going to do this right, he'd need a secret, anti-Man mission to go along with it.

She tore the page out and crumpled it in her hand, then reached out to straighten Blair's suit and dropped in his pocket, giving him a quick look and wink as she did so.

"I'll pay to have it pressed." Pippi said as she slung him over her shoulder and headed off in the direction of the clinic (http://community.livejournal.com/fandom_clinic/124765.html?thread=4673629#t4673629).

As soon as Blair and Pippi were out the doors, Nadia burst into giggles.

Mac watched their exit, amazed. "Okay, who brianwashed him?" She was only half joking...

"Are you telling me what's going on, or am I dragging you to the clinic with Blair?" Walter asked Nadia seriously.

Nadia calmed down after a moment, then folded her hands primly on the table, still affecting the southern twang.

Because messing with people was way too much fun. "I'm afraid I have no idea what you're talking about."

Besides, she'd love to see what Blair would get up to in the clinic.

"Right then," Walter said standing up and coming around to the other side of the table to stand over Nadia. "Come on."

Mac shoved her salad back in her bag. No way was she missing out on this. So she jumped up to help Walter if necessary.

"You're right, of course, I should go see if I might assist Mr. Sandburg." Nadia collected her books and stood.
