Mathematics: All Classes: Wednesday 5.3.06 Period 1

"Good Morning! Intermediates, today is presentation day. You'll get your grades after class. Beginners, your grades are up, go check. Hope you all have a good summer and it was really fun working as a teacher! Oh, Pip, your exam is on the back table over there."

Coffee and random party-like foods.

Walter signs in and happily grabs coffee and random party-like foods.

Pippi's not sure she's supposed to be here but she takes food and sits down to watch Walter's presentation.

Pip grabs some coffee and goes back to take his test while everyone enjoys themself. He hopes they all get ulcers.

Broots graded the test and handed it back to him. Next to the A- for the test there is also a B+ for the semester.

Cameron signed in to pick up his grades.

Molly sighed in, got her grades, grabbed some food and went to sit down to listen to the presentations.

Angela signed in and took coffee and some chips and dip.

Presentations!

He's ready as soon as his partner is. Walter and Angela have put in a lot of work, in class and out, for this glittery presentation about the math of fractals.

Angela waved, showing Walter her portion of the presentation. "Hey. I think we're ready?"

"We'd better be." He nodded as he looked over Angela's part. "We're out of time, and I'm out of glitter."

"The glitter was the most important part," Angela said solemnly. "I was covered in the stuff for days."

"But I think I kind of understand fractals now. So that's something, right?"

"I think that Broots would probably tell us that that was the point. Let's see if we can get our fellow students to understand, too."

~~Handwavey, handwavey?~~

Angela nodded in agreement before ~~handwavily~~ joining Walter in presenting and explaining their project.

"...and that is how fractals are both art and math."

She wiped her re-glittered hands on her jeans and waited for any questions.

Broots gave them a huge thumbs-up. "A's for both the presentation and the class. Both of you, lovely job."

Pip, take your test. Other beginners, listen to the presentations.

Pippi hangs out and is mesmerized by the glittery fractals.

Cameron took a seat in the back. It seemed like the best way for people not to notice his newest bruise, courtesy of Logan Echolls.

Molly went to sit down by Cam, but stopped when she noticed the bruise. She gave him a quizzical look. It could be from sparring, she supposed.

She sat down, but didn't say anything because the presentations were starting.

Cameron gave her a smile and ignored any questioning looks she might throw his way.

Talk to Broots

Molly stopped at the desk after class was over. "I just wanted to thank you for being a great teacher," she said.

Broots squeaked. "Thanks! And uh, yeah. Hope you had fun! And learned something."

*sniffle*

*offers hanky*

THis last week was crazy. Still able to do the presentation?

Um, grade are already done and this post has been up for almost a week now. I'm going to have to say sorry, no.
