In the Cupcake of Good and Evil, Tuesday 2nd Period [4/9]
"It's kind of a shock that we haven't done cheese in cupcakes yet," Summer said, with a note of realization as she started class, "which is why that's exactly what we're doing this week. Now, of course, you've got things like cream cheese and ricotta that lend themselves very well toward cupcakes, if you're feeling particularly good, but what about things like cheddar? Very popular with apples, actually. Or blue cheese? I actually have some apple spice cupcakes right here that use blue cheese! I also have some made with mac and cheese!
“Mac and cheese is a meal and it doesn’t belong on a dessert!” Stark protested with a heavy sigh. “Some of those shouldn’t be cupcakes at all. But these strawberry ricotta ones should be.” They were even pink! Not that that was on purpose except for how it totally was.
"And some places do cheese cakes....not like that...traditionally!" Summer offered. "Like these cheese cupcakes that takes a cue from a popular Filipino-style cake with cheese in it."
“That’s not what cheesecakes are supposed to be,” Stark started to say but he looked at those with interest. “But those look…good?” What sorcery was this, Summer? “I’ll try one.” He was picking it up already.
"Let's all try one!" said Summer. "And see what other weird things we can do with cheese and cupcakes!"

She could say more, but...nahhhh, let's just see where that took them.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
But then again, Summer ate fly ice cream. Maybe her whole family had weird palates.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
"I'm making it the filling," she then informed him proudly. "I'm thinking the cake'll be chocolate."
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
Nothing else. Just her name and a small shake of his head.
"You're ridiculous, sometimes."
Tomatoes might be fruits but ketchup was a condiment!
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
What she didn't say was the unspoken and you love it, bit it was there in her smirk as she upended the tub of cottage cheese into a large bowl and started squirting the ketchup into it with wild abandon.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
And he was fascinated by it.
"I was hoping the cottage cheese was going to be the filling without the ketchup," he said with a little sigh. "Or... you can make cake with tomato soup so it might work better in the cake than the filling?"
No, Stark couldn't believe he was suggesting this either and yet here he was!
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
And now she was mixing that ketchup in with a big wooden spoon.
"I'll take suggestions for frosting, though."
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
He was going to stand firm on that one, sorry.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
"Spinach?" she offered, turning an eager look Stark's way. "With pineapple!"
This may be her grossest cupcake yet!
Well, second grossest. Nothing would ever top those pus ones.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
"Gross. Perfect."
Someone was so very smitten.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
"You suuuure you don't want to try it?" she asked, oh-so-sweetly, really.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
Ha. Like that would happen.
"It sounds too gross for me, Summer."
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
"You're right, though. It does sound pretty gross."
Said with the utmost pride, of course.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/9]
"And did you try the strawberry ricotta?" Not that he'd chosen those with her in mind. Of course.
