In the Cupcake of Good and Evil, Tuesday 2nd Period [3/19]
"I know we've covered alcohol in this class already," said Summer, which sounded like a promising start to the class already, didn't it?, "but I want to bring it back a little bit, because it compliments this other idea I came across which gives us beer and sauerkraut fudge cupcakes, and, you know what? There's a lot to be said about fermented foods in cupcakes."
Even if the less said, the better, probably.
“I can think of some things to say,” Stark agreed dryly. “I'm not sure I ought to though.”
"This is a classroom setting, after all!" Summer agreed cheerfully, and then proceeded to do things that no one should ever do in a classroom setting or any setting at all in life ever.
"And you can't talk fermented without also talking of pickled," she stated, "which is why we've also got both kim chi and pickle cupcakes!"
Lucky, lucky you!
“You did all this yesterday when you weren't feeling well?” Stark asked suspiciously. “It didn't make things worse? Couldn't we just have beer cupcakes without anything else?”
"No," said Summer, which answered both questions. "I did it all this morning! Oh. And pickled beets, too!"
“You woke up that early? And why?”
Because she could, Stark. Obviously.
“I found a recipe,” Stark continued “for beer cupcakes with Irish cream frosting that I could have made for you…Too bad.”

"You're terrible," he said very fondly. "All of these sound gross."
Re: Talk to the Teachers [3/19]
"Surprisingly," Summer snorted with amusement, "I actually had trouble finding one with these ingredients that wasn't disgusting! So, you know....you're welcome."
There was then a little bit of preening. Maybe even a ponytail flip.
"Told you I'd be fine by today."
Re: Talk to the Teachers [3/19]
Stark shook his head at her but he was watching that ponytail flip.
"You're always fine," he said. "I just don't like you to have to feel terrible."
Even if was entirely a case of 'oh no look at the consequences of my own actions'

"But, hey," she added, "I did find us a good bar for your first Irish pub. Or, well. Irish-American, anyway. Ooh, wait! Maybe we should just portal to Ireland instead, get real authentic with it?"
Re: Talk to the Teachers [3/19]
"And...we could try both? If you wanted to. Go to Ireland and then another one closer to home? I've never been there. Just for a bar? Or a longer trip?"
Re: Talk to the Teachers [3/19]
And then she did say it.
"Do you want to try to hit up both? And would you want to just pop in for the bar? Or a longer trip?"
Re: Talk to the Teachers [3/19]
Sure, travel time was negligible when you had Portals at your disposal but still.
"I do like going places with you. New places especially."
