Learn to have fun! Monday, 3rd period

Jon had the class meet him at Portalocity. He looked dubious. "Right. Well, I'm not sure...that is, I've been told this is fun. And that's what class is about. So today we're heading to London and going to a, um. A rather unconventional bar. I trust those of you underage not to drink. Or, well. Not to let me know you're drinking, anyway." It wasn't as though he could really stop them if the bartenders didn't.

Their portal opened and he stepped through and waited for them to follow. "This is Ballie Ballerson." Which was painful to even say. "It's been here for almost a decade now, and they have a healthy business, so presumably there's call for it. Let's all...have fun, I suppose."

And with that ringing endorsement, he left them to it.

It sure is a ball pit! And a bar!

This was the most magical place on Earth. Navaan's eyes were wide with glee as she took it all in. Ball pits! Alcohol! More ball pits! More alcohol!

Have fun in the ball pit with LED lights and UV balls and all kinds of fun things! Drink if that's your thing (and you're old enough or can give Jon plausible deniability)! People-watch!

"Everybody outta the way!" she cried as she flung herself into the nearest cluster of balls.

This was gonna devolve quickly into chaos and, honestly, that was half the fun.

"Somebody booze me!"

Where there were booze and colleges, there were college boys. At least one of whom was happy to cheer Navaan with a bottle of beer and then offer it to her.

Ah yes, God's perfect creatures. Horny, stupid, and blessed with an abundance of alcohol.

Navaan was just going to wow them with how quickly she could finish a bottle. And contemplate taking off her shirt. BECAUSE WOO PARTY!

Woo-hoo! That just brought her another bottle as he and his friends ordered more. They introduced themselves in shouts, but if anybody could hear over the music, noise of balls moving, and general bar noise, it wasn't going to be easy.

Oh like Navaan cared about their names.

Because we all knew where this was heading. She was already taking her top off.

THAT'S RIGHT, VIOLENT BLINDFOLDED BALLPIT CHICKEN!

"No!" That was Jon, squawking and hurrying (as much as possible) through the ball pit toward her. "Keep your clothes on!"

Look, blindfolded ballpit chicken was fine if the people involved agreed, but the bar probably drew the line at "violent" or "naked".

She was wearing clothing! Technically! Look, it wasn't even a NSFW icon, Jon! She was perfectly covered up, where 'perfectly' is maybe doing a bit of stretching to cover it (much like some of her clothing).

"I thought you said we were supposed to have fun!" Navaan protested. And so did the college guys.

Look, a bra and a bikini might cover the exact same thing, but culture got weird about it. This was not Jon's fault.

"Clothed fun!" Jon protested. "Otherwise the bar might kick us out."

There was such grumpy muttering being directed your way, Jon. She'd comply, but she was gonna sulk about it the whole time.

That was fine. Jon didn't require happy compliance, just a lack of nakedness.

Sam would be having ZERO fun. He would be sitting and judging everyone.

So, maybe a little fun.

He's not too sure about this, but he might try it. Look, at least he has no ball-pit-related trauma.

I hate being sick.
