Dangershop: Playground

After being almost being handwavy stampeded by a few miniture students, it didn't take long for Mac to figure out what might have happened overnight.

Being the resourceful guy he is? He headed down to the Dangershop where he spent a few minutes programming it for a more suitable environment for the kids.

He also made sure that the safety locks were on and could not be unlocked.

[ooc: OCD Threads coming up! Safety locks will prevent any harm to the students, though skinned knees and boo-boos can happen. Feel free to add your own playground equipment.]

"Machines can fly," Cameron mutters sulkily to himself and then notices Aeryn. "Watcha doin'?"

"What does it do?" she asks, pointing at the swing.

"You don't know what a swing does?" Cameron blinks. This school is full of weird kids. "It can make you fly. Sorta. It's a swing."

Cameron looks at Aeryn, seizing up her height. "You got to sit down on it first."

Aeryn sits down. And looks at him. Because it's still not going anywhere.

"Okay," he says and moves behind her. "You got to hold on and I'll give you a push to get you going. You got to use your legs to gather speek, okay? Ready?"

With a grin, Cameron first pulls the swing back a bit and then gives her a light shove so she gets going.

Aeryn isn't sure what exactly she's supposed to do with her legs, but she knows not to let them hit the ground. So far she likes this.

"Okay, when you get really high you got to like push yourself off with your legs," Cameron says as he keeps pushing Aeryn higher. It makes sense in his mind. "When you get that, I'm gonna stop pushing."

Humans are weird. But Aeryn likes swining and wants to keep doing it, so she's happy to figure out if she can kick out her legs, it helps. Yay.

Once she get the hang of it, Cameron ducks to the side and climbs back on a swing. "Yay, you're swinging solo!"

She keeps it up, sometimes even managing to get her toes on the ground so she can push herself off higher. She wonders if she can actually go higher than the top of the swingset...

"Try not to fall off, okay? I don't want the grown ups to get mad at me, I already got time out when I didn't do anything. Which is totally not fair, but I did get candy from prof Tick. He's nice and blue," he rambles on as he starts swinging too.

"You talk a lot," she tells him when she passes him mid-swing.

"No," she says, mid-swing again.

"Why not?" He doesn't really think to wait until mid-swing.

"What?" asks Aeryn. Because he wasn't mid-swing.

"Why don't you talk much?" Cameron asks again, this time he does wait.

"Okay, that means I get to talk for the two of us," he decides, not really having a problem with it. "At least you're not talking nonsense about how machines can't fly."
