Dangershop: Playground

After being almost being ~~handwavy~~ stampeded by a few miniture students, it didn't take long for Mac to figure out what might have happened overnight.

Being the resourceful guy he is? He headed down to the Dangershop where he spent a few minutes programming it for a more suitable environment for the kids.

He also made sure that the safety locks were on and could not be unlocked.

[ooc: OCD Threads ~~coming~~ up! Safety locks will prevent any harm to the students, though skinned knees and boo-boos can happen. Feel free to add your own playground equipment.]

"Then show me how." Alanna commanded.

Cameron crossed his arms. "If you say please."

Alanna glared at Cam. "Please show me how or I'll turn you into a toad."

Cameron made a face, but the girl was kinda scary and he didn't want to be a toad or catch her girl cooties.

"You a witch or something?" He asked as he went to the other swing.

"No, I'm Gifted. What's a witch?" Alanna bounced up and down in her swing.

"They're mean women who can do magic tricks and they've got a wart on their nose and they can turn people into things," he explained. He climbed on the swing and walked as far back with it as he could considering his height.

"Okay, and now you sit down and as you use your legs to get more speed," he explained, but it might be easier to just watch his demonstration. "See?"

Alanna tried to copy what Cam was doing but finally just started giving herself a push with her Gift instead. "Fun!"

"Wieeeeeeeeee!" Cameron pushed himself to go faster and higher. "You got to go really high untl it feels like you're going to fall off. That's the fun part! Daddy says it's a bit like flying!"

"How would he know? People can't fly!"

"My daddy's a pilot!" Cameron said, defensively.

"What's a pilot?"

Cameron blinked, forgetting the whole swinging part so he started to slow down. "It's someone who flies airplanes."

Alanna kept right on swinging, not having to use her Gift as much now either. "What's an airplanes?"

"You're weird," Cameron decided. "Airplanes are big machines that go up in the air and can take you anywhere you want!" He grinned. "I'm going to be a pilot like my dad."

"You're weirder." Alanna shot back. "Machines can't go up in the sky. Only birds can fly!"

"They can too!" Cameron countered.

"Can not!" Alanna shot back. "Nu uh nu uh nu uh."

"Can too! Can too! What weirdo place do you come from? Ask Molly!" Cameron argued.

"Tortall. And it's not weird, you're weird."

"Am not. I'm cool," Cameron glared. "You're full of girl cooties."

"Boys are never cool, except Thom but he's not here."

"I don't know Thom," Cameron admitted. "I'm still cool."

"He's my twin brother. We're fa-fra-not the same." She considered the second sentance. "You showed me how to swing. You're a little cool then."

Cameron beamed, because even a little was cool. "Swings are fun! Can Thom turn people into toads too?"

Alanna considered this. "Yup! He's actually a better Gifted person thing than I am but I can toss him in the pond."
