Janet came running in from the park, just barely in time to get the library open.

She stuck the usual end-of-semester sign on the door:
ALL BOOKS DUE BACK BY MAY 5TH. NO EXCEPTIONS.

She did not write "THIS MEANS YOU, BELTHAZOR" on it. But she wanted to.

Janet wasn't late. Or out of breath. Or anything but perfectly calm and composed--and hoping no one came in to see her being anything but perfectly calm and composed.

Ooh, look, more coffee. Yay!

Journlistic Integrity was today. With luck, Callisto and Krycek were teaching it again.

Janet was flipping idly through books on trains, trying to figure out a good metaphor for her ACJ essay.

Food! And the library aides, and the librarian, and their friends.

Janet just remembered she's got detention for tomorrow. And she's boggling over it again.

The day is nearly over, so Janet's in a better mood.

TA meeting. Yes. *cough* That's it. Janet's at a TA meeting.

Zero came in after Driver's Ed and started studying for her Art final, which she assumed would be some sort of written test or, say, painting something.

Little did she know.

Parker is going over her notes on perspective and color, and wondering if Professor Autolychus is going to let them just create something and claim its art. Or whether they'll have to explain it. Ack.

Angela came in with barbecue potato chips and a smile on her face. Tests, what tests?

"So did you see me kiss Cameron?" she asked.

"You kissed Cameron?" asked Janet.

"Yeah," Angela said, with a hint of a smile. "Made $50 off it too," she said. "I'm guessing you missed the radio broadcast this morning."

"Fifty dollars? Even better," said Janet. "And yeah, I decided to go out for an early run and ended up stopping for coffee on the way back. Apparently I need to listen to the podcast."

"I did!" Parker chortled maniacally. "And he flailed, just like before. That guy really needs to lighten up. You actually did pretty well in the fight, by the way. Go, boy-you."

"Might be worth it," Angela agreed. "Anyhow, we were sparring and Parker said I should kiss him to distract him. So I did." She winced. "Still lost."

"He did kind of freak out about the boykissy," Angela agreed, remembering it with a grin. "And thanks. He clearly knew what he was doing, though."

"Yeah. How bruised were you this morning?" Parker winced. "Yeah, Cam's pretty into self-defense. He's improved a lot this year."

Angela scrunched up her face. "Not that bad? I was pretty sore earlier, but I did some stretching and I feel better now that I've been moving."

"Good. Ice helps. Heat later." Parker cocked her head. "So, overall, how was being a guy for a day? Interesting, traumatic, or somewhere in between?"

[and I go away for 3 hours. woe!]

"Both," Angela said. "Once I got kind of used to it, it was interesting? But not expecting it and having to deal with the new plumbing was pretty traumatic. Not to mention the whole everyone-is-bisexual thing being a little weird to verify that way."

She gave Parker a grin. "If you're really curious, you could ask Nadia where she got the pills."

"I might." Parker contemplated that, then shuddered. "No, no. Interesting as it might be, I don't think I'll inflict that on myself or anyone else. Even knowing that it was going to happen, I doubt I'd handle it well."

Angela nodded. "I wouldn't do it again, really. I'm happy in a weird way that it happened, but it's still good to be myself. And I am never complaining about being flat-chested again."
