The Multiverse is F'd, Y'all; Wednesday, Second Period [09/20].
"Today," said Summer, from the front of the classroom where their first portal was all warmed up and ready to go for the first leg of their lesson, "we're going to take a little bit of time and sort of explore some of the diversity of the multiverse, which is sort of a loaded statement, since, as mentioned before and as will be mentioned until you're absolutely sick of it, the multiverse is literally infinite, it has no limits, nearly anything is possible. Which, by the way, side-note, if there really is something you'd like to see in the multiverse, don't hesitate to bring it up to me. It might take some doing, but I'll see if it's possible to turn it into a whole thing for this class. But right now? We're going to narrow it down a little and focus on some of the diversity that can exist in even just one universe, with keeping in mind that while this universe has this, there are many universes that do not. How different are those universes because of this disparity? Well, that's a pretty big question a little too out of the purview of some thrown together community college class, really, but not a bad idea to keep things like that in mind as we traverse the galaxy.
"Now," she continued, "a long, long time ago, in a galaxy not far away from this one, really, on the grand scale of where multiverses are placed next to each other if even such a thing exists, before I ever came here as a student myself, my family and I were on the run from an Evil Galactic EmpireTM and needed to just sort of chill for a while. Only problem is that, with an Evil Galactic EmpireTM, there's only a limited amount of human-habitable planets left that aren't already under their thumb, and you better believe that there was a reason for it. So we're going to do a little planet hopping today, and I'm going to take you to those three planets, or just a little spell each, and then we'll come back here and discuss some of the notable differences, if there's anything familiar in your universe, and whatever else about our experiences. Sound good, yeah? If there aren't any questions, then, let's get on up and get going! Off to the Cob Planet!"
Yeah. You heard that right.

"Even the molecules are on a cob!" Summer was explaining as she gestured around them. "Now, for reasons I still don't understand, this is actually very bad and very dangerous. My main theory is that the reason everything here is on a cob is because it slowly turns anything that arrives on it into a cob, which is why the Galactic Federation was probably not interested in it, which, if you ask me, is kind of a waste of a good cob planet, like, just send all your enemies here and turn them into cobs or whatever, right?"
What?
"But that's just a theory. No one knows why Cob Planet is so dangerous, it just is, so we won't be spending too much time here, just enough to get a feel for it, and if you want, I've eaten the food here and been fine, so try a little if you want, and then we're heading off to our next weird fucking planet in my universe's Milky Way."

Class Activity: Screaming Sun Planet - Multiverse, 09/20.
"WELCOME," she shouted, as the sun in the sky over an impressively beautiful and pristine landscape screamed mercilessly and endlessly without stop, "TO THE SCREAMING SUN PLANET! WHERE IT'S ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AT NIGHT BUT DURING THE DAY, THERE'S THE SUN THAT SCREAMS LIKE THIS ALL FUCKING DAY! AND THE DAY CYCLE HERE IS A WHOPPING 42 HOURS! NOW WE'RE NOT GOING TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME HERE FOR OBVIOUS REASONS, BUT ALSO BECAUSE THERE'S A RACCOON KING THAT I BOOTED OVER HERE AFTER HE TRIED KIDNAPPING A BUNCH OF PEOPLE AND PUTTING THEM UNDERNEATH THE ISLAND FOR, LIKE, A REALLY LONG TIME, SO IF HE SEES ME HERE, THERE MIGHT BE TROUBLE, BUT I ALWAYS THING THAT SCREAMING SUN PLANET IS A GOOD EXPERIENCE FOR PEOPLE TO HAVE THAT MIGHT MAKE THEM A LITTLE MORE GRATEFUL FOR THE FACT THAT, IN THEIR UNIVERSE, IF THE SUN SCREAMS, THEY CANNOT ACTUALLY HEAR IT."
With that, she put on her headphones and gave them all a thumbs up.

Totally worth any payback.
Class Activity: Tiny Planet - Multiverse, 09/20.
Like...very small.
"Whew," Summer breathed out as she took off her headphones and sighed a little happily at the utter lack of screaming in the air. "That's better. Anyway, welcome to Tiny Planet," Summer, it had a name, GOD, "which is was the last stop on our hideout and awww, look, you can still see the cabin we lived in! Anyway, so, yeah, this planet is extremely small, but you can see why, between the options, it wasn't so bad a choice for a little while. So, anyway, take some time to explore, you can actually get a lot of ground covered in the time we have left, and then we'll head on back to the school and debrief."
