The teachers were in the center of the paintball course again, dressed in appropriate gear. "We decided against borrowing Dean Skywalker's human hamster balls," Steve said, "but we have incorporated those hanging rings. They were neat!"

If you had biceps like Steve did. Perhaps only if you had biceps like Steve did.

"It'll be fine," Tony promised the class. "We have safety protocols."

"A biiiiiig mud pit," Steve said happily.

"Maybe plan on a shower," Tony suggested, eyeing one of those mud pits speculatively.

By the end of it, Summer was definitely more covered in mud than she was paint, but, hey, she couldn't help it if diving into them made for a good strategy for dodging shots!

She was....definitely regretting some choices after a while, though.

He was covered in mud and paint and probably still blur lava from earlier. Oops.

At this rate, Summer might start to suspect that Stark's failure to manage to clean up properly after Lava class was intentional, really.

"And I almost feel I can't even really be that mad about it," she said with a sigh, tossing up her hands for a moment, "but at least I bear you and Anakin and Steeeeeeve."

"And... covered in too many things."

"Mud....paint," Summer agreed thoughtfully as she looked Stark over. "At least you seem significantly less glittery this week, but you should probably maybe do something about all that."

Stark turned and gave her a considering look. "What do you think I should do?"

"Really?" Summer asked, with a smirk and a dubious lift of her brow. "The thing you want to act all innocent and clueless on is going to be personal hygiene, huh? That's a choice."

Stark grinned. "Maybe you meant I needed to do something about being less glittery."

He knew very well that wasn't what she meant.

"I'll go home and get cleaned up."

"Well," Summer reasoned, "you don't have to do much around here more. And wouldn't you know?" She grinned right back. "I was just heading that way myself."

Well, that had been fun.... little mud never hurt anyone, though he was definitely making a B-line for the shower once he got back to his apartment. He had so much mud on him that Snoopy was probably going to be jealous he didn't get to roll around in the mud too.
