2Paint2Ball, Friday - 4th Period

Well, in contrast to the first summer session, this one had Tony and a very excited dog that was Steve. Because that was normal for here. Perfectly normal.

"Welcome, welcome," Tony said. "Welcome back, some of you. As you can see, only one of us is... normal-ish. But the first class of the session will continue on anyway!"

God help you all of dog!Steve got a paintball gun working, though.

"We'll start out simple with just the normal course to provide cover as you play. And feel free to grab a jumpsuit to protect your clothes, okay?"

It'll be fun. Or embarrassing.

Summer sighed a little, feeling like Stark was exactly picking up what she was putting down, or, at most, he did pick it up and then just fumbled it right to the ground.

"Never mind," she said. "We'll just go after this."

Covered in paint and glitter and unfulfilled in the humidity, it was fine.

Stark thought he was picking up on it but he was very distracted by the insistent feeling that he needed to go into the woods and find... something.

"Then we'll do whatever you like," Stark said. "Wherever you like?"

Maybe in a shower. There was going to be so much to clean up and it was so warm and humid.

"No," said Summer, sighing again, "it's fine. I lost it now. We'll go find this stupid thing we're supposed to find first, and then maybe I can even get some decent sleep not filled with dreams about my dead bro--ohmygod."

Guess who just remembered what this thing was.

"I think I just remembered what this thing is. Goddammi, Morty!"

Because of course it was his fault.

"It isn't their fault," Stark said. "It's the island being the island. But it would be nice, sleeping well. I haven't been the last few days."

Or much of last week, really.

"I'm sorry, I just... if I don't go it's not going to leave me alone and I won't be able to think of anything else. Not even things I'd very much like to think of."
