Well, they had done it. Somehow, even with everything going on, they had made it to the end of the class. And Connor was just going to take a moment to appreciate that before turning his attention to the class.

“Well, we have made it to the final class. And I just want to say it’s been a good one and I think you all have done well with the assignments. That brings us to the last assignment for this class. Don't worry it will be a fun one,” Connor said with a glance at Cutter and a small wink. “For this class, we just want you to do a small project on your favorite dino or creature we have talked about in class. This can be a small report, a poster of fun facts, you could even make a diorama or something artsy for your chosen creature if you like. Just have fun and show us what you have learned about one of these amazing creatures.” Connor turned toward Cutter with a smile to see if there was anything he wanted to add.

Cutter couldn’t believe that they had made it to the last of the class with everything that had been going on either and he smiled over Connor, “we will be continuing our class next session if you would like to continue learning about different dinosaurs and ancient creatures, in the meantime myself and Mr. Temple will be here to answer any further questions you may have or if you’d like any help with your assignments,” he nodded at the students, “we’re looking forward to seeing what you come up with,”

Cutter really couldn't believe it that it was the end of the first session and that he and Connor had actually managed to cover classes with how things had gone these past few weeks.

He was taking the moment while he was at his desk, to catch up on the news and find out what he'd missed while he'd been camping for the last couple of weeks.

A successful class- for the most part- under their belts. It felt good and Connor was just going to take a moment and appreciate that fat. As he sat at the desk, he took a minute to flip through one of the travel magazines he had picked up on the way to class- It had an article about the preserve he and Lester would be near during his upcoming little vacation.

After finishing catching up on the news, Cutter glanced over at Connor and decided to take a chance in going over to talk to him, it wouldn't be like the last few times he had attempted to talk to Connor, "is that where you're going to be staying with James?" he asked as he spotted one of the articles that Connor was flipping through.

"Aye, he has a cabin in the woods near the preserve. Just a couple hours drive from London evidently" Connor said as he turned the magazine around and slid it over so Cutter could look at it. "Sounds like there's a lot to do there!"

Cutter smiled as he read over the article, "it looks fantastic," he said as he looked over the page, "I bet you'll have an incredible time here, you'll have to show me the photos you take,"

"Oh, I definitely will!" Connor nodded with a grin. He then looked at Cutter and gave a somewhat softer smile. "You... you sure you are ok to handle class if I am not back in time for the next session to start?" The trip has been fairly planned out but there were still some days put in for wiggle room and he might end up being away longer and he wanted to make sure Cutter would be alright on his own. "You be alright watching Rex for me too?"

"I will definitely be okay," Cutter assured him, returning that soft smile, "and don't worry about classes, I can manage them until you're back," he added and his smile widened, "and I can definitely watch Rex and I'll collect your mail and keep an eye on your flat for you," he added.

"Thanks Nick... you're a lifesaver. I don't think Rex would be too happy with me putting him up at the shelter again for this trip" Connor admitted with a small laugh. "And def appreciate ya keeping an eye on the place for me too!"

"You're welcome, you won't have anything to worry about here, Rex and I will keep each other company," Cutter said with a fond smile, "just have an amazing time on this trip, which based on these photos I think you'll have a wonderful trip,"

"I can't lie. I am really looking forward to it. Lester's cabin sounds amazing and the scenery I'm sure is even better than the photos !" It was amazing what the promise of an actual vacation could do... Connor didn't remember being this excited about something in some time.

"Knowing Lester it will probably have everything you need for a cabin and more," Cutter smiled, pleased to see Connor look so excited about the trip, "and I bet the hikes will be incredible, I went on a couple with Becker and I found I quite enjoyed them,"

"Its not the Scottish Highlands but its going to be amazing. Im really looking forward to it. And you'll have to tell me more about your hikes and what all you and Becker saw before I leave in a few days!"

Cutter smiled warmly, "I can definitely do that and then you'll have to tell me about everything you and James get up to on your trip, I've always wanted to visit the nature reserve, I bet its really beautiful there,"

"I'll tell you all about it" Connor promised. "Maybe... depending on what it's like... we could always try our hand at an overnight camping trip sometime?" Nothing too grand or adventurous but it still might be fun to get out and do something not tied down to the ARC, the team, or Fandom.

“I … I would like that,” Cutter smiled warmly, “I mean … if you feel up to it, that sounds really nice, maybe we could even go somewhere where we can do our own fossil hunting,” he considered, "I think that would be a lovely trip,"
