"Good morning, everyone." Lana smiled. "Welcome to our last trip for this term. I hope you've enjoyed getting to see my galaxy." Albeit a carefully curated version. "For our last class, we'll be going to Dantooine. It's an agricultural world that's currently part of the Alliance. It's on the edge of Imperial territory and lies on two separate hyperspace routes, so it's not as out-of-touch as you might think, given its position in the galaxy."

Look, it was the boonies, but it was a pretty nice boonies.

"So, come on through." She waved them into the portal, followed along, and...oh, no. This was not Dantooine!

She turned just in time for the portal to close. "Damn it! Sorry, this is not our planned destination." She pulled out her phone as she looked around. "Welcome to Nar Shaddaa, playground of the Hutts and every criminal in the galaxy. Look, why don't you head into the casino, change a bit of money, and enjoy the slots while I call Portalocity and get us out of here. Just - look, stay away from the tables, don't make a scene no matter what you see, and do not approach anything large and sluglike."

Lana had to make some phone calls.

"Libby," Nell tried to gesture to her discreetly. "Over here."

Hearing her name and turning her attention that way to see that it was coming from Nell, Libby smiled a little and drifted over easily. "Oh, hello, Nell; did you find something interesting?"

The whole place was interesting, if you asked her, and she felt she was doing a good job of at least doing what Ms. Beniko instructed: staying away from the tables, not making a scene (could you even imagine?), and not approaching anything large and sluglike (easy enough, although being told not to made her curious, but certainly not curious enough to not know better!)

"Just trying to keep us together," Nell said. "And out of the way. This is a pretty dangerous place. Lana called in a friend to help us, but it's good if we stay out of the way and don't make eye contact with anyone."

"...oh," said Libby, frowning a little and starting to look around again, but, with what Nell said about eye contact, she quickly stopped herself and ducked her head. Realizing that staring at the floor seemed like it could draw attention, she tried again and this time just look at Nell with a nod.

"Staying together is a good idea, then," she admitted, thinking it was a good thing, too, that Nell got her attention, with her tendency to wander off during these field trips.

"Safer for sure," Nell said. She nodded to a couple of chairs along the wall. "I think if we sit here we can sort of observe safely from a distance. Just try not to catch anyone's attention."

There was a moment, when Libby followed Nell's nod toward those chairs with a look almost of devastation, the idea of being in a new place and just sitting there, being quiet, being unnoticed, filling her with disappointment. She wanted to argue, a little, that Ms. Beniko did say they were fine to play the slots, that by trying not to catch anyone's attention, maybe they'd only make themselves noticeable, they should try to blend in instead. She found herself wishing that Kurt had taken this class with her, so that if they went and did something and trouble started to brew, he could just port them out of there back to safety...

But it wasn't like she didn't know how to just keep to the side and keep herself quiet and unnoticed, and it was a little remarkable to her, in that moment, that she no longer actually defaulted to that...although, really, she never was that good at it. Not like Patience. But better than Faith...

And with all that sort of jumbled in her head the way all the lights and sounds jumbled together so enticingly in this place, she gave another nod and just went over to the chairs and tried to figure out how she could just sit there and watch from a distance without making it too obvious that she was ultimately trying to drink everything in through her eyeballs.

Nell saw her look and sighed a little internally. "I think if you just stick to the slots near here you should be okay. Just keep me in eye sight and if I call you over come back right away."

She'd keep watch over her from here and be prepared.
