"Good morning, everyone." Lana smiled. "Welcome to our last trip for this term. I hope you've enjoyed getting to see my galaxy." Albeit a carefully curated version. "For our last class, we'll be going to Dantooine. It's an agricultural world that's currently part of the Alliance. It's on the edge of Imperial territory and lies on two separate hyperspace routes, so it's not as out-of-touch as you might think, given its position in the galaxy."

Look, it was the boonies, but it was a pretty nice boonies.

"So, come on through." She waved them into the portal, followed along, and...oh, no. This was not Dantooine!

She turned just in time for the portal to close. "Damn it! Sorry, this is not our planned destination." She pulled out her phone as she looked around. "Welcome to Nar Shaddaa, playground of the Hutts and every criminal in the galaxy. Look, why don't you head into the casino, change a bit of money, and enjoy the slots while I call Portalocity and get us out of here. Just - look, stay away from the tables, don't make a scene no matter what you see, and do not approach anything large and sluglike."

Lana had to make some phone calls.

Nell was going to stick by the walls of the casino and just try to stay out of the way of everyone and everything.

The gambling, the noise, the people, no, she'd stay right here, thank you.

She did keep an eye out for the other students, particularly Libby and Jo. She might not be comfortable here, but she was undoubtedly better able to protect herself - and them - than they were

"Hi," Atton said, breezing in from behind her. "Your teacher called me in. You picked a good spot. Just sit down and don't look anyone in the eye, all right? Especially not anyone with less than two eyes."

Nell nodded. "Figured that was the smartest choice, stayin' out of the way and tryin' to stay unnoticed. I've had a little training with the warrior women on Odessen, but I'd just as soon not have to try it out here."

She gestured with a nod toward Libby and Jo. "M'keepin' an eye out for them as well."

"Probably better if you can get them to come over here," Atton observed. "The further from the gambling area, the less likely anyone is to lose a head."

"If you'un can herd them over this way I'll do my best to keep 'em here," Nell said.

Atton heaved a heavy sigh. "Teenager wrangling," he muttered. "Definitely the part I didn't miss."

Oh. Right. She was right there. "... I'll get right on that."

Nell would have you know she was a 28 year old widow woman and no teenager no matter how tiny she was, thank you very much. But since she couldn't read his narrative she simply said, "I can only imagine. I'd help, but then you'd have three of us to keep an eye on."

"Nell." Lana breathed a sigh of relief to see her being sensible. "Sorry about all this. I did bring you a holocomm, though." She handed it to her. "It's already got your Mandalorian friends' frequencies programmed in, along with mine and the Commander's."

Who she was half a minute from calling up right now, in fact.

"I'm here, I'm safe," Nell assured her. "And I have good eyes on Libby and Jo. Your other friend is around too. What happened?"

She took the holocomm and grinned at Lana. "Thank you, this is wonderful! Though I don't know which one the commander is."

Lana sighed. "I have no idea; Portalocity claims it was a glitch. Thank you for helping. And the Commander is the one in charge of the Alliance. He'll always know where to find me if I can't answer, and he can call in the troops if you need anything. Not that I expect you will, but it couldn't hurt to have the option."

Nell nodded. "Portalocity is great when it works, but as today - and my life - proves, it can be quite difficult.

She listened to Lana's explanation and nodded again. "Hopefully I'll never need to reach out to him, but it's good to have."
