Well, there were mercifully no rubber chickens for the class to have inflicted on them. But there were buckets of what looked like water balloons along with the regular gear.
"So, this week we'll be trying out a new weapon," Tony said. "The grenade. Or, in this case, water balloons packed with paint."
"It's going to be fun!" Steve said enthusiastically, but then he was always enthusiastic about the combination of tactical exercises and mess.
"So, suit up and let's get ready to be a mess!" Because it would be. Oh, it would be.
"We'll play, too."
To no one's surprise, really.

Of course, the most important thing was always that he beat Anakin. Always.
Once he had all his gear he bolted for what he thought might be a good spot. And it probably would be for a little while.
