Yoga; Thursday, Second Period [06/15].

"This week," Rosa said, once again ready to go for a nice, easy morning of beach yoga where all she pretty much had to do was explain a few things and then not talk to anyone while they figured it out for themselves, because that was where the real learning was, right?, "we're going to continue to expand our repertoire of poses by reviewing some from last week and introducing a couple more that put a emphasis on a deeper stretch. And if these intermediate poses we're touching on are still feeling a little advanced for you, just focus on refining some of the previous ones we've learned that you are more comfortable with. Then we'll just practice a bit of our breathing and meditation, with the usual warm up and cool down.

"Any questions?"

If there was, she apparently was ignoring them at this particular moment.

"No? Good. Let's start."

In an animal pose.

Sun salutation? Sun salutation. Or just do your own thing, Rosa's not going to say anything unless you're being disruptive or if the only thing you're warming up is your mouth and not the rest of your body.

There are some repeats this week in the boat pose, the eagle, and the crow, and upward facing dog should be familiar from the sun salutation, but half moon, shoulder stand, plow, and camel should present some new challenges or familiar moves to refine.

If you'd like, you can stick with the stand-by of the now familiar sun salutation for your cool down, or follow along with Rosa through a new sequence that incorporates the half moon pose from the lesson.

Or don't. Rosa doesn't care, it's your muscles that are going to regret it, not hers.

Nell was enjoying this class - and the company. It was definitely something she could see herself continuing after the class was done.

If she was a little less focused than usual it was probably because her mind was going through everything she had to get ready for tonight.

Gladiolus Amicitia

Gladio was definitely going to work through some of the new poses to figure them and out and get used to them, but he since it was in there, he really wanted to put his focus on perfecting that eagle pose.

It was a thing, okay?
