Political Campaigning (Tuesday, April 25, 4th period)

"Last class before your presentations, guys," Josh said, glancing up from the latest poll numbers from a Michigan special election. "Figure out who's saying what, blah, blah, blah. Any questions, just ask."

Angel signed in, totally not making eye contact with Josh.

Angel made a very good show of sitting down and concentrating very hard on his studies.

Then a tiny part of him wondered if maybe trying to study too hard would come off as flirting, since, you know, teacher.

Angel wished life wasn't quite so difficult. And that he could get his hands on an instruction book that explained human interaction, ideally in very tiny words.

Parker signed in. Totally not smirking at Angel. Really.

Alanna signed in, her bag swinging a bit unnaturally.

"Okay. Message, experience, blah: Jake, you want to take that?" Parker cracked her neck. "Funding, campaign strategy? I'll take that. Callisto? That leaves events, dirty pool, voting day? To you. That work? Anyone want to switch? Aside from switching out our candidate?"

"I can do that," Jake nodded. "I have notes." He held up his notebook as proof.

Callisto nodded as well. "Gotcha."

"Super. And I think we should just go for it, include Chris LeDoux and the llamas and the buses and the demon banquet and what the hell, the rapping. People will find the campaign unforgettable, at least."

Alanna sat and hoped that Rory had some idea on what they were doing.

"Hey," Rory said, sitting down with her. "So. I have notes and stuff."

"Awesome. I think I might even have a vague idea of what we're doing." Alanna dug out her notebook. A black paw batted at her hand. "Down." She hissed.

Fear the notes! Fear the OCD. There are piles and piles of notes, and what looks like a power-point presentation on her laptop. Things are brightly colored, and there are graphs and diagrams and maps.

Parker would hate Liz at this moment, except she's taking notes for her own presentation on the little extras to make it work.
