Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Even if a new term wasn't starting soon, today would be the perfect day for a picnic. The weather was calm and warm, the food table was full, and there was a respectable amount of glitter on the decorations. There might have been a bigger party going on somewhere else, but here it was time to celebrate the start of summer!

"Well there's the problem right there, isn't it?" Steven said. "Hard to get him to go out and do things at all, let alone enjoy them. And now he's down one since the diner's burnt. I mean - bad for the diner as well, of course. Not saying Marc's having the worst of it."

Or poor Llewellyn, with his missing Tuesday lunch now.

"But that's what Summer helped me realize," Steven said. "Marc's got things he does, yeah. But things that he wants to do? Don't know that we've found that for him yet."
