Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Even if a new term wasn't starting soon, today would be the perfect day for a picnic. The weather was calm and warm, the food table was full, and there was a respectable amount of glitter on the decorations. There might have been a bigger party going on somewhere else, but here it was time to celebrate the start of summer!

"If it turns out we don't," said Prompto, waiting for Liz to get that little urge to fuss out before sweeping in to put an arm around her waist and lean in to kiss her on the temple, "I'll just run back home and grab it real quick. And if it gets too be too much for her, one of us takes her home. No big deal, right?"

Liz smiled warmly as she straightened up and Prompto placed his arm around her, she leaned against him, “thats true, sorry I guess I’m a little nervous, I can’t believe it’s her first outing,”

"I feel like maybe it's a little overdue," Prompto admitted, looking down into the stroller fondly as Noctra failed to figure out what she wanted to look at the most, "but also, you can't beat the timing. What better way to welcome her to the world officially than the Welcome Picnic, right? And they're usually safe, too." A small smile with the shared concerned over the unique challenges that parenting in Fandom can bring. "The picnics."

Liz smiled warmly, “the picnics are usually pretty safe,” she agreed, “I don’t think I’ve even seen a picnic run out of food before,” she admitted, “but she does seem to be enjoying herself, there’s so many new things for her to look at,” her smile widened at that.

"Speaking of food," said Prompto, with another quick peck to Liz's cheek before his attention ricocheted over to the food tables, "want me to go check it out? Bring something back for you? You in the mood for anything in particular?"

“Food sounds great actually,” Liz smiled at the kiss as she leaned against Prompto, “I could go for something with chocolate if you wouldn’t mind?” she asked hopefully.

"I am literally going to bring you a plate piled with every chocolate thing they have up there," Prompto informed....warned?...her. "And maybe, like, a sprig of broccoli. To balance it out, you know? Gotta get those vegetables in somehow!"

Liz giggled at that, “okay, one broccoli too even out all the chocolate,” she nodded in agreement, “I think I can manage that,” she smiled up at him.

"Okay," said Prompto, sneaking in one more kiss and then leaning in to make a few little gurgling sounds at Noctra and tickling her to try to get a laugh out of her before going back up to kiss Liz another time, "BRB."

And BRB he did, a few moments later, when he'd scoured the tables for everything chocolate and piled it onto a plate and placed a nice piece of broccoli on top like a cherry on a sundae.

"Your lunch, madame," he declared, bowing deeply as he offered out the plate to her.

His own had a hot dog, a few slices of pizza, and a salad for good measure loaded onto it.

Liz smiled brightly at those kisses, which she happily returned as she waited with Noctra and she her smile widened when she saw her lunch.

“Why thank you kind sir,” she giggled and blushed and attempted a slightly awkward curtsey in response as she took the plate and went in to give him a kiss.

"Please tell me you'll eat something other than chocolate, though," Prompto said, with maybe a slightly reproachful look, but he was smiling all the same. "If not here, then at least at home. Not to go all Iggy on you or anything, but a healthy diet does not chocolate make."

Liz smiled at that as she ate the stem of broccoli first, "I promise," she assured him, "I'll make sure that I eat something more healthy afterwards," she grinned, "I'll eat a salad after this," she promised.
