Well, it seemed as though Gladio was stepping up to help out with another class this week, which was fine. If there was anything this week was making abundantly clear, it was that Gladio definitely was the type to step up and be helpful.

This one had been a little bit more of a chain of events; Sidon had contacted Prompto first, but he was a little preoccupied, what with the baby being born and all. So it bounced over to Gladio, who had to laugh and needed absolutely no convincing to jump on board with this one. And so the teacher the class would find in the classroom that week was pretty big, sure, but practically a shrimp compared to the usual one, and he had a sword that would be pretty big for anyone resting on his shoulder.

"Alright, guys," he said, with a nod to the students once they did get here, "turns out, Sidon had to go home this week for some trouble that stirred up, but he said it's actually kind of perfect, since apparently, it involves these lizalfos guys you learn about last week. Which means he figures it's a good way to get you guys out there to help, if you want. These are real monsters, after all, which is a little different than dealing with them in theory, but also, it's a good chance to get off the island a little bit, and maybe see them for yourself, even if you don't want to rush in there and start fighting them."

He flashed them a grin, giving his sword a twirl off his shoulder. "I know I'm definitely in. Portal should be here in just a sec, come with me if you're game, but he says he completely understands if you'd rather not, and, if that's the case, he says enjoy the free time."

And with that, the scheduled portal conveniently arrived in their classroom. "Alright," he said, "that's us. Let's go."

Getting ready for a fight!

Or just be distracted by Gladio's massive sword, which would be understandable even on a perfectly normal week.

The portal dropped the class off in a small little encampment somewhere along the Zora River, which twists and turns through the mountains. Sidon was already there, with a few other Zora soldiers, and he grinned once they arrived. "Magnificent!" he said, still full of energy, but in a very low whisper, as to not give away their location. "I'm so glad you could join us; we've been spending most of the week whittling down the lizalfos encampments, but a few still remain, and I figured, since we discussed the topic only just last week, that we might save this particular raid for your educational purposes. Grab a weapon if you feel so inclined; our archers will fire a few initial shots, but once those first few go down, our location will be revealed, and they will doubtless come rushing up the road to meet us. If you'd merely like to observe, I will help you up on this ledge here, where you may certainly do so safely. If you have any questions, by all means, ask away, and then we shall begin our attack. And then but one question will remain: are you ready?"

And if they are, the attack will begin, and the students can feel free to participate, spectate, and mod to their hearts desire, with Sidon, Gladio, and the Zora soldiers to lead the charge and help them out (or keep them quite safe!).

Maybe not in the middle of battle, but with this kind of force behind it, there will definitely be some time before the portal to take you back to Fandom at the end of the class period if anyone wanted to chat.

Sidon in particular would be eager to chat, especially since he'd been having a week of fighting off lizalfos instead of fighting off feelings, and he'd love to know what you thought of getting to see lizalfos in action!

And Gladio's honestly just happy to be there. Gods, he missed monster raids! These lizalfos guys were pretty small peanuts compared to the daemons he was used to, and not having to fight in the dark definitely added another level of ease, but it was good, having another nice outlet for all that simmering energy this week that was not only fun, but also helped out a good friend.

One of these years, I may have the brainpower and energy to deal with this guy during a pollen week again, but this is not that year! Enjoy Sidon waterbending a shark attack instead!
