"Today we're going to be discussing an entire genre of sexy crime," Isabela excitedly told the class. "Film noir!"
"It's all about men tricked into doing incredibly dumb crimes by far more intelligent women." Because no one teaching this class had ever done anything illegal or ill advised in order to impress an attractive woman. Ever. "Of course then there's this whole blah blah reinforcing the accepted social order so then she usually dies and he gets remorseful and may also die. Which does take away from the whole sexy bit a little."
