Other students in the world would probably be focusing on the fun and frivolity tonight.

Marty for some reason appears to be in the mood to shoot the heck out of something.

The fact that he keeps missing the target means nothing.

The shooting range is open for your Gun Club needs.

SAFETY RULES:

· TREAT ALL GUNS AS IF THEY WERE LOADED

· KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO FIRE

· BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND

· ALWAYS WEAR HEARING AND EYE PROTECTION

· NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR DRUGS BEFORE OR WHILE SHOOTING.

· CHECK IN ALL WEAPONS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RANGE.

Pippi was going to go down to J,GoB before meeting the others to get her nails done, but is drawn inexplicably to the gun range. It's open for Gun Club for the first time since... Well, it's been a while.

She phones in her order to J,GoB to buy her some time and signs in.

Aeryn is definitely going to spend some time shooting things. It's been a weird week and it's probably just going to get weirder. Yay shooting things.

Marty grunts something that sounds like "Hello."

It could be he's clearing his throat.

Parker waves as she's re-loading. "Hey. You ready for this thing?"

She may be avoiding the word Prom for her own reasons.

Marty twitches anyway. Since he's reloading at the time ammo flies everywhere.

"Yeah. You?"

Parker looks at the ammo on the floor, then back at Marty. "I thought I was nervous, buuuut...."

Parker's voice is very quiet and reasonable.

"Put down the gun. And the ammo. And maybe lie down on the floor?"

Marty gave Parker a glaring look, put his weapon in the locker and stomped out of the shooting range.

Nadia has other things he should be doing today, but he can't help himself. He carefully waits until Marty has put the gun down for the moment, then sneaks up behind him and whispers "Prom!"

What follows could probably best be described is a scene of incomprehensible yelling and screaming of obsceneties, threats and insults.

Considering the content of the scene? It's probably best that the actual transcript of what Marty says isn't put here.

Instead a summary:
1. Whoever this snotty kid is? Banned from the shooting range.
2. That what the snotty kid did was very irresponsible and should never be done at a shooting range.
3. A suggestion is made regarding the kid's actual parentage that involves inbreeding.
4. Another suggestion is made regarding a sexual act with said kid's mother
5. A long lecture is made regarding the plausible tortures that would occur if the kid ever does that again.
6. A promise that the kid's posterior would make a lovely hat.
7. Another promise about weetiny bunnies, duct tape and the kid's posterior
8. Finally, something is said that is so foul that it can't be put in a polite context.

In case you haven't guessed? Marty is a wee bit uptight today.

The kid? Listens to all this politely, silently thanking whatever might be in charge of these things that Marty doesn't recognize him from London.

Looking suitably chastised, the kid slinks from the gun range, before bursting into giggles and grins.

Hey, at least he waited until Marty put the gun down.
